PlayStation Music Powered By Spotify Launches Today

PlayStation Music powered by Spotify launches today for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 systems, along with Sony Xperia devices in 41 markets around the world. The partnership will be exclusive for an undetermined amount of time. Spotify is a vastly superior option to Sony’s Music Unlimited service. A service which they finally killed when announcing PlayStation Music.

Spotify has more than 30 million songs and you can use it as background music during your gaming sessions. You can also control the music being played via your smartphone, this keeps you in the game for longer, no need to go back and forth between Spotify and your game. You can easily link your Spotify account to PlayStation Music both the free and paid versions.

Sony have stated that this is just the beginning for PlayStation Music and the service will evolve in the future. They are working with Spotify to bring exclusive features to the PlayStation platform.
