Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Gets Expanded
After the initial controversy surrounding the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass, the standalone Assassin’s Creed Chronicles gets its re-reveal. Initially included in the Unity season pass, Chronicles was to be the 2.5D sidescroller starring Chinese assassin Shao Jun. The season pass was removed from sale when Ubisoft decided to give the DLC for Unity away to all players as an apology for the titles rocky release. Players who purchased the season pass prior to this were given a free Ubisoft title as compensation.
The title has now been expanded to include two additional “chronicles”. Russia with assassin Nikolai Orelov and India with assassin Arbaaz mir. The title will be released in three parts, each priced at €9.99/$10, with China being the first release. It tells the story of Assassins in three diverse locations and time periods for a series of all-new Assassin’s Creed adventures. Each Chronicle will transport players to lush and beautiful surroundings, brought to life in a unique art style for an original Assassin’s Creed experience.
