Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Details Reportedly Leak

Some images have surfaced online allegedly detailing aspects of Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 3. The images lay out some previously unknown details of the title, which may have an official reveal coming tomorrow or Monday. Treyarch have had a three year development cycle since the last Black Ops title, mainly thanks to Activision introducing Sledgehammer games into the Call of Duty machine. Now, Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer all take turns releasing titles. The increased development time has been beneficial for the series so far.

Like all Treyarch Call of Duty titles before it, the images have detailsĀ of the fan favourite, zombie mode. In Black Ops 3 there will be a zombies campaign , with narrative, right from the start. It states that this will be the most “immersive and ambitions Call of Duty Zombies to date” with it’s own xp based progression system.

The title will have a new chain based movement system that sounds similar to Titanfall and Advanced Warfare. It will allow players to move through the environment fluidly with thrust jumps and slides, along with mantling abilities. With promises that during this, you will still have complete control of your gun. The maps in this title will be designed from the ground up for the benefit of the new movement system, but players who like of the older style of traditional movement won’t be left out. The games multiplayer will also have a new specialist character system which is as follows:

Black Ops III multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which alows players to rank up and master each specific character’s battle-hardened capabilities and weapons. With this addition to Traditional and Weapons XP progressions systems, black Ops III multiplayer gives players three different ways to rank up.

The main campaign will feature 4-Player co-op, and will feature “cinematic gameplay”. The missions will have an open area design, so will have multiple strategies or options available to you. If one method doesn’t work out you can try another route, for instance. In a first for the campaign, each player is fully customizable, from weapons, loadouts, abilities and outfits, with a full progression system for your character.

This seems like a legitimate leak of flyers, so I would be very surprised if none of this turned out to be true. As mentioned earlier, Activison may officially announce the features of the title in the next few days, so we will find out if any of this is accurate. As always take these rumours/leaks with a grain of salt.
