Rumour: Arkham Asylum/City coming to PS4 and Xbox One
IGN Italy have received word from a “trusted source” that Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City will be remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The rumoured aim is to release them this Winter. This comes along with word that Batman Arkham Knight has been delayed until June 23rd.
If this information is true, then it seems that for the moment at least, this generation will be filled with remasters of last generation titles. Most last gen titles were not actually HD, they were in fact upscaled from sub-HD resolutions, so the re-releases will solve what may have been a peeve to some. On the flip side of this the PC versions of these games have been playable at resolutions up to 4k for sometime now, so these re-releases may draw the ire of some fans.
