Dragon’s Dogma Online Gets Japanese Release Date

Dragon’s Dogma Online finally has a release date locked in, too bad it’s still a Japan only release right now.  As of right now we don’t know if there are any plans for a release in the west, but with E3 right around the corner we’re trying to remain hopeful. Dragon’s Dogma was one of the better new IPs created last gen and it would be a shame to see what is essentially the sequel, exclusive to one country.

Along with news of release is the announcement of a closed Beta test for the title. PS4 owners can sign up on the PSN between June 8th and 14th and all players can sign up on the official site between June 15th and 30th. The Beta is set to take place between the 7th and 15th of July.

The trailer above is a detailed comparison of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 graphics in the game. The title will be Free to Play and will feature cross platform play between all three releases. Dragon’s Dogma Online will be coming to the PS4, PS3 & PC on the 31st of August in Japan.
