Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Microsoft have announced backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games will be added as a feature to Xbox One.

This will allow players to play a limited selection of retail and digital copies of their older collection on the One.

Players will be able to play multiplayer games on the One with their friends playing on the 360. They will also be able to make use of the Ones features for the older games such as sharing screen shots.

This service will be available to premium subscribers from today with the catalogue set to expand over the comming months.

Microsoft have also announced a new gamepad for the One that will feature a touchpad and fully customisable buttons. It will also work on PC and make use of Windows 10 features.
